Hi guys I am not going to review Russell's set, as I am unable to be unbiased. I was nearly as nervous as Russell as it was my suggestion to Ian Grant that resulted in Russell playing. I was ready to run for the hills if it didn't work out for all concerned...

Russell played 2 Skids songs Iona and Fields
2 Armoury Show songs Love In Anger and I will Find You (unreleased it was planned as a single)and the rest were solo material..

Thank you for your wonderful live set at Farrington on Saturday.
I think, in your introduction, you said "I'd like to declare this an open hearted space".
Well, I think you truly achived that . . your audience was spellbound from start to finish, the atmosphere was electric, the performance was superb and I personally have rarely felt so captivated and moved.
They were wonderful songs - delivered with such feeling, honesty and optimism.

sounds great m8 but where is the youtube clips, photos, bootlegs etc etc :)

They are still to come... some professional photos taken by Kirsty Grant, also we are waiting for the dvd, it was filmed though only on a home digicam. The soundguy was gutted that he didn't record Russell's set. He wants to studio record Russell...so maybe an ep or album to come...

Wanted to borrow my sons digital SLR camera, but he's lost the charger and the batteries were flat. The photos I took on my little "point and shoot" are crap!!!LOl so have been deleted

I will rip the sound from the dvd as soon as we get it. We plan to put some up on his myspace page
